8/13/08 - Dance Shoot video - finally edited!

Finally I have found the time to cut together this video from a dance shoot I had back in February with a group of students and alumni from Chapman University.

8/11/088 - I took a picture of a meteor!

I went way out into the desert Monday night with some friends in hopes of getting some pictures of the meteor shower.

   The 'shower' turned out to be a trickle, but I managed to capture this one meteor ( or UFO - more likely a satellite... )
   A fun activity regardless. The shot of my friend Eric is perhaps the real winner:

7/27/08 - Weddings, bands & more!

July has been an exciting and busy month. Friday I went up to Carlsbad and shot a beautiful wedding at the Hilton Garden Inn:

I worked with Danyavaad, the band who performs with the belly dancing Shimmy Sisters duo. They needed new promotional shots as well as some content for their upcoming CD / DVD album release.

    I have had time to elaborate on my experimenting. Here is a shot I captured with a cardboard box, piece of wax paper, and a lens I bought for $5. Stay tuned for the wireless flash cannon.

7/8/08 - Recent Fashion Work

Been busy shooting and loving it!

   This Monday evening I had the privilege of working with Adelaide and Leilainia, two sisters who perform and teach belly dancing in the greater San Diego region.

Though it is much too hot to be shooting indoors in East county San Diego, I had a great shoot with Crystal Lane Swift last Sunday in my home studio.
We were going for a dark, yet glamorous look. More images from
the shoot will be released soon.

Yet again, Ashley orchestrated a beautiful shoot and here is a sneak preview from our third, and most recent session.

Shawna delivered again with her secret rural locations... This time a tromp through the tarantula-infested forests of Ramona, Ca. Paired with our new friend Savannah, we produced some beautiful images of both girls.
